This paper introduces the Outlook on Agriculture Special Issue biomimicry and nature-based solutions. It provides a selective overview that will help frame situate collection, with particular focus agriculture food production. The relationship between nature is central concern, particularly how this framed by those promoting idea to overcome multiple challenges it faces, must (re)turn nature. significance of different understandings ‘nature-based solutions’, relative importance biomimicry, are explored.
